Anxiety and panic attacks can be acquired through many different factors. It affects people not only for one single reason. People can have genetic traits that may affect their being sensitive to anxiety and fear. They may easily feel anxious and may even have a nervous breakdown by encountering the slightest reason to fear. They are referred to in society as people who are naturally high strung.

People who are going through difficulties are expected to feel worried and stressed most of the time. If you have problems at home or in the office, you will tend to be anxious. Financial crisis could be a common problem of people that will cause them to have anxiety and panic attacks.

When you are depressed it is easy to suffer with other problems too such as anxiety and panic attacks. Feelings of depression can make you start to think irrationally and panic over the simplest of situations. Like being in a crowd, which most people have to do everyday.

Also anything that makes you have altered thinking such as taking drugs and alcoholic beverages. These can distort your thinking and rationing abilities so you may not be able to keep yourself calm when needed. When you become anxious there is always a possibility of a panic attack occurring.

If you have ever had one panic attack you can always get another. Many times the fear from having one attack can make you be on the alert for another one, therefore you are in a state of anxiety. This in turn leads to another panic attack.

Anxiety and panic attacks may be due to many stressful incidences and may tend to go as long as the stress continues. This will become a cycle that can be hard to break. If this condition is not treated properly, anxiety will continue to disruped the person, or worse ruin the normal flow of their life.

You may have experienced a traumatic incident in your life that you are afraid of its recurrence. Because of this fear, the after effects of such incidence could be anxiety and fear. If you let this fear to overcome you and to trouble you, this anxiety will tend to become panic attacks later on.

Learned in this article is the fact that every one of us can be affected by anxiety and panic at some point in time in our lives. Although it's true that not all of us will be attacked by extreme anxiety, there is still the possibility that it will, especially if we don't know how to control our feelings and emotions.
